Polyamory &
Non-monogamy
Whether you are monogamish, thinking about opening up your two-some or in an established ENM partnership, we'll work together to strengthen communication, increase secure connections, and achieve healthier relationship dynamics.
Exploring and Establishing your ENM Life
Opening Up
Known best for my work in helping monogamous couples explore non-monogamy, this work is a combination of psychoeducation on healthy practices of opening up to new relationship dynamics, as well as relationship therapy that focuses on the partners, present in the room, and how to better support needs in your specific relationship.
Attachment Theory
Pulling from the work of Jessica Fern, and the attachment theory researchers Mary Ainsworth and John Bowlby, we will work to identify what attachment styles are being brought out in your relationship(s) and how to manage reactions, tame triggers, and ultimately work from a more secure attachment.
Healthy Conflict Habits
One of the most beneficial areas of relationship growth, learning to be in conflict in a way that supports growth and understanding, can be one of the most healing aspects of our work together. Here are some common signs that this work may be a great resource to you.
-
You often find yourself feeling shame or being disappointed in yourself after an argument.
-
You find yourself confused as to "what just happened?"
-
You find yourself telling others that you never get angry or never fight.
-
The idea of getting into a fight with your partner causes feelings of panic or extreme discomfort.
Kink Affirmation and Education
Kink curiosity and exploration can be a very playful and fulfilling part of your life. Exploring fantasies and the reality of your pleasures and desires can make life feel full and worth participating in, no matter your age or life stage.
Whether you are new to kink and have questions, or have been in the lifestyle for many years, everyone benefits from having a safe and confidential place to talk about and educate themselves on the basics and beyond. Things we will focus on in this area is the importance of CONSENT, ALWAYS, safety, communication techniques, barriers, and how to spot red flags quickly.
Conscious Uncoupling
We all experience the evolution of relationships. Commonly in romantic relationships, there is a binary of staying forever or the “failure” of breaking up.
Within this work, you will be offered new perspectives for when you believe that there is a need for a shift in the romantic relationship, and learn how to hold both the hardship of emotionally and physically disconnecting from a partner and holding gratitude (if applicable) for the time you spent together. This work can alleviate unnecessary mental and physical anguish and allow attachment work to present itself, moving you to a place of more security.
Rituals
This work is dedicated to focusing on rituals that can create more securely attached relationships and build a safer home base in which to continue exploring non-monogamy.
